- If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, you may not use the Platform or take part in any activity announced on it.
- These terms form a binding agreement between you and the Operator.
3Membership eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (Gregorian calendar) to create an account or take part in any Meetup.
- You must hold a valid driving licence matching the category of the vehicle you drive, issued or recognised in the country where you drive.

4Nature and limits of the platform's role
This section is fundamental to understanding your relationship with the Platform, and is to be read together with every other section of this document.
- The Platform is a means of announcement and communication that lets Members announce their Meetups and get to know each other. Nothing more.
- The Operator is not a transport company, a travel agency, a tour organizer, or a provider of transport services of any kind.
- The Operator does not drive any vehicle, supervise the road, lead groups, set speeds, or direct Members while driving.
- Meetups announced on the Platform are organized by Members in their personal capacity, not by the Operator, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing in the announcement of the Meetup itself.
- The appearance of a Meetup on the Platform does not mean it has been checked, approved or recommended, nor does it guarantee any aspect of it.
- No employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship arises between the Operator and any Member or Organizer. Each Member acts on their own account and at their own responsibility.
- Attending any Meetup is your own free personal decision, and your own judgement of whether it suits your abilities and your vehicle.
5Member responsibilities on the road
You, and you alone, are the driver responsible for your vehicle at every moment, whether you are in a Meetup announced on the Platform or not.
- You must fully comply with the Qatari Traffic Law and its implementing regulations, and with the traffic laws of any country, emirate or area you pass through.
- You must comply with speed limits, traffic signals, overtaking and right-of-way rules, and all instructions from police and traffic officers.
- You must wear the helmet and safety equipment legally required for your type of vehicle, and ensure any passenger wears them too.
- Before every ride you must check your vehicle's technical condition: tyres, brakes, lights, fuel level and fluids.
- You must not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance affecting perception or reaction, nor while too fatigued to drive safely.
- You must not use the Platform or any activity announced on it for racing, speed challenges, stunts, or any act criminalised by law. A Meetup is not a race.
- You are responsible for entering any private land or restricted or protected area, and you alone must obtain any required permit.
- You may at any time, and indeed must, withdraw from any Meetup that you consider beyond your abilities or your vehicle's, or that breaks the law.
6Traffic violations and fines
Key provisionEvery traffic violation committed during any activity connected with the Platform is the sole responsibility of the person who commits it, with no responsibility whatsoever on the Operator, the Organizer or any other Member.
- You alone bear every fine, traffic point, vehicle impoundment, licence suspension, or any administrative or criminal penalty arising from your actions.
- You alone bear responsibility for any accident you cause and its consequences, including material damage, bodily injury or death, to yourself and to others.
- If a violation is issued, or a claim or lawsuit is brought, against the Operator or any Organizer because of an act of yours, you undertake to pay it in full and to compensate the Operator for everything it incurs, including legal fees and litigation costs.
- The Operator bears no liability, whether civil, criminal or administrative, for Members' actions on the road, or for their failure to do what they were required to do.
- The Operator may cooperate with official authorities and provide them with data it holds when requested, in accordance with the law.
7Acknowledgement of risk
By taking part in any Meetup or Ride, you expressly and knowingly acknowledge that:
- Riding motorcycles and driving vehicles on public roads and on sand, mountain and rough tracks is inherently dangerous.
- This activity involves risks including, without limitation, accidents, serious injury, permanent disability, death, and damage to vehicles and property.
- These risks may arise from your actions or those of others, from road or weather conditions, from sudden vehicle failure, or from unforeseeable circumstances.
- You accept these risks voluntarily and knowingly, and you take part at your own full personal responsibility.
- You are responsible for insuring yourself and your vehicle with the coverage you consider sufficient, and the Operator provides you with no insurance coverage of any kind.
8Conduct at meetups
- Respect other Members and road users, and avoid any aggressive or provocative behaviour.
- Do not obstruct traffic, block the road, or drive in a formation that hinders traffic flow.
- Do not photograph anyone or publish their image without their permission.
- Stick to the announced meeting point and time, and inform the Organizer if you decide to withdraw during the ride.
- The Platform is not a political or advertising platform; using it for any purpose outside its scope is prohibited.
- Breaking these rules exposes your account to suspension or cancellation without prior notice and without compensation.
9Meetup organizers
If you create a Meetup and announce it on the Platform, you do so in your personal capacity and not on behalf of the Operator.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish about the Meetup: route, difficulty, distance, meeting point and requirements.
- You are responsible for any official permit your activity requires, if any.
- You must not make any promise or guarantee to your Meetup's participants in the Operator's name, nor suggest that the Operator sponsors or supervises your Meetup.
- You undertake to compensate the Operator for any claim brought against it because of a Meetup you organized.
- The Operator may, without being obliged to, refuse to publish any Meetup or remove it at any time and for any reason.
10Member content
- You alone are responsible for everything you publish on the Platform: text, photos, routes, ratings and comments.
- You confirm that you have the right to publish what you publish, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate the law or public morals.
- You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display what you publish within the Platform and to promote the Platform.
- The Operator is not obliged to review Member content, and may remove any content at any time without notice.
- The presence of content on the Platform does not mean the Operator endorses or adopts it.
11Disclaimer
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty of any kind.
- The Operator does not guarantee that the Platform will always be available or free of errors or interruptions.
- The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of any route, map, distance or timing shown on the Platform, nor its suitability for actual use on the ground.
- Location, navigation and tracking services are aids only and may fail or be wrong. Do not rely on them alone in any critical situation; they do not replace your attention on the road.
- The Operator is not responsible for any act or omission of any Member, Organizer or third party.
12Indemnity
You undertake to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Operator, together with its directors, employees and agents, from and against every claim, lawsuit, fine, loss or expense (including legal fees) arising from or connected with any of the following:
- your breach of these terms or of any applicable law or regulation;
- your driving or use of your vehicle, and any accident or damage arising from it;
- any traffic violation or administrative or criminal penalty issued because of you;
- any content you published on the Platform;
- any Meetup you organized or took part in.
This obligation remains in force even if your account is closed or your relationship with the Platform ends.
13Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator bears no liability for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.
- The Operator's total liability to you, whatever its cause, is limited to the amounts you actually paid it during the twelve months preceding the event, or to a nominal amount of 1,000 (one thousand) Qatari riyals, whichever is lower.
- These limits are an essential part of the agreement between you and the Operator, and without them the service would not be made available to you.
Exception required by lawNeither this section nor any other section of this document excludes or limits the Operator's liability for its own fraud or gross negligence, or for any liability that Qatari law does not allow to be excluded. Any provision held to be invalid does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
14Data and privacy
- The Operator collects and processes your data in accordance with the privacy policy published on the Platform, which forms an integral part of these terms.
- Taking part in Meetups may reveal your name, photo and approximate location to other Members. If you do not accept this, do not take part.
- Live tracking services operate with your consent, and you may turn them off at any time.
- The Operator undertakes to protect your data by reasonable means, but does not guarantee absolute, unbreachable security.
15Intellectual property
- The names "يلا لفّة" and "YalaLafa", their logo and design, and all their visual and software elements are owned by the Operator.
- They may not be copied, imitated or used without prior written permission.
- What you publish remains yours, subject to the licence set out in Section 10.
16Suspension and termination
- The Operator may suspend or cancel your account immediately and without notice if you breach these terms, or if it suspects behaviour harmful to Members or to the Platform.
- You may close your account at any time.
- Sections 6, 7, 12, 13 and 19 survive the end of the relationship.
- A Member is not entitled to any compensation for the suspension of their account or for the discontinuation of the service.
17Changes to the terms
- The Operator may amend these terms at any time. Amendments are published on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
- Continuing to use the Platform after publication constitutes acceptance of the amendment.
- For material amendments, the Operator will endeavour to notify Members by an appropriate means before they take effect.
18General provisions
- Severability: the invalidity of any provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one closest to it in effect.
- No waiver: the Operator's tolerance in not enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Entire agreement: these terms, together with the privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Force majeure: the Operator is not liable for any failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Language: the Arabic text is authoritative, and in case of any difference with a translation, the Arabic prevails.
